Originally from the United States, Tarik has lived and worked in Oslo since 2011, bringing with him a deep passion for community, creativity, and youth empowerment. With over a decade of professional experience as a chef — including serving in the U.S. Air Force — he understands the importance of discipline, leadership, and teamwork. For years, Tarik has been organizing community activities on his own, often calling on friends and family to help make them possible. His dream was to create something bigger: a safe and inspiring space where kids from all backgrounds can come together, have fun, and build confidence. That dream became HipHop Kids. Through games, seasonal celebrations, and creative projects, Tarik is dedicated to showing that every child deserves a chance to shine — no matter their financial situation or cultural background. His vision is for HipHop Kids to become a lasting platform where joy, inclusion, and opportunity meet.

Naomi brings creativity, organization, and a big heart to HipHop Kids. As Project Coordinator, she makes sure every detail is in place so kids can enjoy safe, fun, and exciting activities. Passionate about youth empowerment and community building, Naomi works both behind the scenes and on the ground to turn ideas into reality. Her strengths lie in planning and collaboration, ensuring that every event is well-structured while still full of energy and joy. She is especially committed to creating spaces where children feel welcome, supported, and inspired to shine. Naomi’s dedication helps transform each HipHop Kids event into more than just a gathering — she helps build meaningful experiences that kids and families will remember. With her commitment and heart for young people, Naomi plays a key role in helping HipHop Kids grow into a community where all children can thrive.

Alex is a rapper, recording artist, and record label owner who brings both creativity and professional experience from the music industry into HipHop Kids. His artistic background gives him a unique perspective on how to connect with young people through culture, music, and storytelling. As Media & Creative Director, Alex is responsible for HipHop Kids’ digital presence, including the website, social media platforms, and visual storytelling. He ensures that the organization’s voice and image remain authentic, inspiring, and true to the culture it celebrates. Beyond managing the online side, Alex also plays a key role in shaping the creative direction of events, making sure they have the energy and excitement that kids love. Alex’s journey as both an entrepreneur and artist makes him a powerful role model for kids, showing that passion and creativity can open real opportunities. Through HipHop Kids, he uses his talents to help inspire the next generation to dream big, express themselves, and embrace their unique identities.
